What's been going on

HI-SKILL ladder is getting bigger and bigger.
We're getting ready for the PSL championships this week.
Been playing a lot of AC and Sauer.
Drakas has been very lazy.

Nick (Mike Pantozzi) gets his girls the same way he gets his music: online. On a first date, Eva (Jessi Kneeland) invites him to an exclusive filesharing community called ‘The Lionshare’. From there, Nick’s own creative frustration fuels his consumption of pirated music and other media while he produces nothing of his own. Eventually, he finds inspiration in the unlikeliest of places.

The Lionshare is the debut feature from writer/director Josh Bernhard. It was made in the spirit of the independent, do-it-yourself cinema of the Internet age, shot with consumer video cameras at the cost of a few thousand dollars. The latest in a wave of films dubbed “The New Talkies,” its kinetic style and raw performances recall the work of John Cassavetes and the DOGME 95 movement. Relying on naturalistic dialog and a barebones aesthetic to match the bare honesty of its characters, The Lionshare is a personal look at life and love in an increasingly impersonal world.

The movie is a reflection of how we are living now, as we increasingly relate to each other through the music we listen to and the media we consume; where people communicate through internet memes and pop culture references. The Lionshare demonstrates how the medium has truly become the message.

Blood Frontier: Blood Frontier "Beta 2" Out Now!

After many months of development, and massive amounts of input from the public, we are proud to present you with the new release of Blood Frontier, v0.85 (Beta 2). This new version totally redefines and improves the game in many ways, creating a whole new style that makes it almost nothing like its predecessor.

We hope that you enjoy this new release, which contains more bug fixes, feature additions, and improvements, than I could ever list. The previous “Beta 1″ package saw us gain a huge increase in contributors and players, which has in turn afforded us more resources to create a better polished Blood Frontier.

New improvements include:

Enhancements to the impulsing (double jump) system; sprint for more speed, run along walls, or kick off them.

New and improved maps from the community; enjoy a wider range of playing environments and settings.

Refined and increased HUD visibility; always know what’s happening and what you’re looking at.

More variables than ever; tailor gameplay to your tastes with more options than you could ever play with.

Story mode concept; take the precursor to coop campaigns out for a spin with bots or online.

Refinements and polish; gameplay flows easier, visual elements look better.

PSL title matches went as successfully as they could. Majikal won his FFA title, making FFA dominated by Majikal and tenshi this whole year. CTF and iCTF were also won. Good work, guys!
